Ohio Emergency Management Agency

When not in a response or recovery mode, our focus is to ensure that Ohio and its citizens are prepared to respond to an emergency or disaster and to lead mitigation efforts against the effects of future disasters.

Our recently redesigned site highlights air quality in your local area first, while still providing air quality information at state, national, and world views. A new interactive map even lets you zoom out to get the big picture or drill down to see data for a single air quality monitor.

Emergency Management Institute (EMI)
The EMI is a part of FEMA and provides training programs on emergency management for government officials, emergency responders, and the general public. Their website provides information on training programs, courses, and resources.
United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR)
The UNDRR works to reduce the risk of disasters and build resilience to hazards worldwide. Their website provides information on disaster risk reduction, including resources on preparedness, response, recovery, and risk reduction strategies.

Emergency Preparedness and Response: The CDC website provides information on emergency preparedness and response, including resources on natural disasters, infectious disease outbreaks, and terrorism.
